En litterær samtale med Fribyforfattere

I samtalen blir vi kjent med tre fribyforfattere som er nå bosatt i Norge gjennom ICORN (International Cities of Refuge Network). De forteller oss om livet i veikrysset, ikke bare mellom det å være skeiv og muslim, men også det å være flyktning, kvinne, menneskerettighetsaktivist, osv…
Vi diskuterer situasjonen i Midtøsten, spesielt Egypt, Palestina og Iran, de landene de kommer fra og får høre deler av deres kontroversiell litterære arbeid som har vært hovedgrunnen for at de nå er i Norge.

A literary conversation with “Fribyforfattere” (Free city writers).

In this conversation you’ll have the chance to get to know three “friby” authors who now live in Norway due to ICORN (International Cities of Refuge Network). They’re going to tell us about living life at a crossroad – not only pointing to their own queer and muslim idenity, but also about being on the run, a woman, a himan rights actvist and more.
We’ll be discussing the current situation in the middle east, especially Egypt, Iran and Palestine – the authors’ own home countries – and they’ll tell us parts of their controversial literary work which has been the main reason for why they now are in Norway.
