Filmskaperen Nina Grünfeld er tilbake på Jødisk Kulturfestival Trondheim og forteller om sitt arbeid med filmen om det jødiske barnehjemmet i Oslo under andre verdenskrig og flukten til Sverige, som reddet livene til flere jødiske barn i 1942. I filmen forteller Nina Grünfeld historien om personen hun er oppkalt etter, nemlig Nina Hasvold, som drev et barnehjem for jøder. Ett av disse barna var regissørens far, Berthold Grünfeld. Etter foredraget viser vi filmen Ninas Barn. Filmen og boka er fra 2015.

Lecture and viewing of the documentary film about the Jewish orphanage in Oslo during the Second World War.

Film creator Nina Grünfeld returns to JK-fest, relating her work on this documentary film about the Jewish orphanage in Oslo during the Second World War, including the escape to Sweden, saving the lives of several Jewish children in 1942. In the film Nina Grünfeld tells the story of the person she is named after, Nina Hasvold, who was in charge of the Jewish orphanage. One of the orphanage children was the director’s own father, Berthold Grünfeldt. Following the lecture, there will be a viewing of the film. The film and the book upon which it is based upon are both from 2015.
