Poetry Night – Open mic evening
Gulabuddin Sukhanwar - Gunika
The House of Literature in Trondheim is pleased to invite all poetry lovers to our open mic evening.
You are welcome to join us and read or perform poems (written by yourself or from the author you like) in any language you prefer to use – the more words, the merrier. All languages are welcome! You are, of course, more than welcome to listen to others too!
The session will be co-hosted by Gulabuddin Sukhanwar and Gunika.
Gunika is originally from India and a volunteer for Poetry Night Trondheim. She is an architect with a Masters in Urban Studies from NTNU, Trondheim. When not reading academic papers on equity and social justice, Gunika is found in the local library’s poetry section.
Poetry Night Trondheim is a community platform founded by Olga Lehmann in 2016 with a mission to hold a space for every person to feel included and to create a sense of community and belonging. This poetry project published Trondheim’s first multilingual anthology, Høre Hjemme.
Free entrance. Due to infection control considerations there is only a limited number of free tickets available.
