The program will open with a welcome by Gulabuddin Sukhanwar, the Literature for Inclusion leader, and an introduction by Libe García Zarranz, Associate Professor of Literature in English, NTNU. rawlings’ performance will be followed by a discussion and a Q&A session.

The event is free and open to the public. Coffee, tea, and refreshments will be served.

About rawlings: rawlings works in many genres and media, and her work has included sensorial poetries, vocal and contact improvisations, theatre of the rural, and conversations with landscapes. Her performance practice seeks and interrogates relational empathy between bodies—human, more-than-human, other-than human. Her books include own (CUE BOOKS, 2015) and si tu (MaMa, 2017). Her libretti include Bodiless (for composer Gabrielle Herbst, 2014) and Longitud (for Davíð Brynjar Franzson, 2014). rawlings’ Áfall/Trauma, was shortlisted for the Leslie Scalapino Award for Innovative Women Playwrights (2013). She is also a member of the new music duo, Moss Moss Not Moss, which debuted at the BBC Tectonics Festival in 2016. Her performance documentation Intime was exhibited at Kunsthallen Trondheim in 2017.
